Becoming a Jim’s Castles Franchisee is a great way to make money, and be your own boss with flexible hours. There’s no doubt you have questions about this process so we have created some Franchisee FAQs to answer any commonly asked questions.

The price will vary, depending on the extent of equipment you wish to start with. (For example, the number of jumping castles you require and party hire equipment.)

Our Franchise entry level is approximately $20,000 however, Jim’s Finance options are available (subject to lending criteria) that can bring the starting price to approximately $5,000.

Jim’s Finance offers assistance in getting a business loan or car finance to start your Franchise. Please contact us if this is something you were interested in.

It is impossible to provide accurate figures on what you might earn, as your commitment and effort will directly relate to your earning capacity.

We realise it can be tricky when starting out your Franchise for the first time, so the Jim’s Group does offer a Pay for Work Guarantee. We guarantee that every new Franchisee will receive a minimum amount of work every week. This provides a measure of financial security, whilst you are starting out.

People will know and trust that Jim’s will be around for a long time. As an already established and reputable brand, we have an advantage over other Jumping Castle companies.

To begin your Franchise, you must first undertake all of your training on how to use the jumping castle and party hire equipment.

After this, you are all done! Jim’s will provide you with additional support whilst you begin your Franchise journey.

The way our Jumping Castle and Party Hire Franchise works is you will be provided with all the relevant training and support to start up your business.

You will then work in a territory of your choosing, and begin generating your own clients. There are certain requirements you will need to meet to keep the business running, but the amount you work is entirely up to you.

You will also have access to a wide range of knowledge and advice from existing Franchisors.

Each Jim’s Jumping Castle and Party Hire Franchisee is given a territory of their choice to work within. This will be your territory where you can market yourself as much as you like to suit your clients.

At Jim’s Group, we allow our Franchisees to take on extra work outside of their territory, allowing you to earn as much as possible.

The amount of business generated varies for each Franchisee. Some of our Franchisees work full-time, and others part-time so there is a wide range of business generated.

We will provide you with all the relevant training and support to give you a successful business, but there are things you can do to market yourself within your territory.

The Jim’s Group and your Franchisor will give you great advice on how to do this.

Jim’s Group provides relevant training for all of our new Franchisees.

You will take part in our Divisional Training and learn how to do all the basic jumping castle requirements. You will also learn how to make the best popcorn, fairyfloss and slushies.

We also provide generic training, where you will learn the basics of business, sales, admin and the legal aspects of your franchise.

Currently, the Jim’s Group has over 4,500 Franchisees across Australia.

Being a part of Australia’s largest Franchise group has its benefits. Not only do all the Franchises work together and share ideas, but you will receive great deals on all the equipment needed to run your business.

If you decide that running a Jim’s Jumping Castles and Party Hire Franchise is no longer right for you, we can develop a plan for you to sell the business.

If you have worked hard to develop your Franchise business, with a good client base then it should make the selling process easy.

We also have the option to split your Franchise. If you find yourself becoming too busy, we can help you to sell clients to another franchisee to balance out your workload.

Whilst the Jim’s Jumping Castle and Party Hire Team recommend a trailer, we understand that trailers don’t work for everyone. This means you don’t have to use one if you have an appropriate vehicle to use instead.

A van or truck will work just as well, as long as it can safely fit all of your jumping castle and party-hire equipment.

One person can successfully operate the franchise along with the set-up and pack-down.

Two people working in the franchise just makes it a little easier and quicker. It is a great couples or family business for this reason.

Your time per hire is simply: the set-up, providing instructions of use and then the take-down.

You don’t need to stay for the hire duration unless requested and this is an extra cost to the hire to have you there.
